Twelve years ago (after frequent visits to the Hard Rock Cafe & Resort in Hollywood, Florida), the idea for Kompliments of Kay was conceived. What began as a mere inkling of an idea, grew over years of retail, hospitality, and customer service positions, which prepared us for the planning of our brand.
Opening at one of the largest outlet malls in the United States, Kompliments of Kay opened its first location in 2019. Since then, Kay’s has expanded to several different mall locations to distribute their cinnamon-glazed glory evenly! Today, a full in-line store with unique gifts treats, and more, our brand is both irresistible to the eyes and delicious to the nose! Our array of cinnamon-roasted nuts is steeped in a rich history. We still use the original recipe from The Nutty Bavarian, Bruno, who developed his nut roasting trade in 1891 in Footfurt, Germany. Bruno sought to bring smiles to the faces of his townspeople, who often attributed their good moods to the sweet smells of Bruno’s nut roasting (and his family’s bakery next door). Since then, these nuts have continued to be highly sought-after delicacies, served worldwide for people to enjoy.
